We planned on hiking the south rim trail today, but we thought it was closed. We did stop and walked to the lower falls view point. I do not think I had ever been there, at least that I can remember. The traffic and parking fluctuates a fair amount during the day. Some area’s are definitely are more popular than others and the bear jam’s are a pain. Some people just do not understand about approaching the wildlife or stopping in the road, blocking traffic.
